It was easy to open a personal account at Armswissbank Armenia. It required providing all normal documentation but this was all done remotely and efficiently. I have had great service for 3 years now and receive 4.75 % on my USD Term Deposits of 1.5 year duration.

I had an account there which I used to move funds beyond. I never kept funds in account for long but with the high liquidity ratio requirements of Belize banks I felt they were secure enough. I guess I was wrong and lucky. Hopefully all depositors will get there money in full. Good luck to all.

I have savings in several offshore personal bank accounts but in those countries a judgement creditor could enforce their judgement against me should I lose a pending law suit. I cannot 'hide' the money because my tax records could be subpoenaed and I will not try to avoid my tax obligations...
