I have a SwissQuote account, which I've used a little and not paid much attention to the fees. But it seems they might be quite steep. Oh, wait. Where it says they add a 0.85 fee, I assumed that was %, but it seems it's cents.

But still, I will be paying about $55 per transaction. I seem to remember I was paying about $10 with Interactive Brokers. I applied for a new account with them, but the admin says they are waiting to review my documents that I uploaded 18 months ago. No reply from support.
In short, I am looking for a fairly broad brokerage. Not something like eToro or Plus500 with their limited offerings, but with lower fees.
My stock buys are about $10,000-20,000.

From a preliminary search, it seems IG has a nice offering with a fee of about $4 for transactions. But maybe there are other fees in there.
