Question Cheque from a Mauritius Bank

Hi everyone, newbie here.
I had a Mauritius bank close my company account and for the remaining balance they issued me a cheque in my company name. Since I received this cheque I have tried to deposit it into several banks and all of them have said they cannot accept cheques from Mauritius. I have also asked many other banks and had the same answers from them.
Has anyone else had this problem?
The issuing bank is not prepared to do a transfer or to help me in any way.

Thanks for the advice. I haven't been able to do this because of the Covid restrictions. I hope I can fly soon.

The world seems to be open, to take a flight to Mauritius should not be a problem. It may be your best choice.
