I'm based in Ireland and would like to start trading (buy and hold mainly really ..). However, it seems that buying as an individual is very costly because even if I want to sell and buy another stock/etf, i will need to pay CGT at 40% rate: How to calculate CGT
I was wondering if forming a company that trade the shares would drop the rate down since I won't technically take the money out of the company and re-invest. I haven't seen many threads about this specific topic and appreciate your guidance.
This needs to be very low effort/cost since the starting capital is low anyway (around 20K euro).
What's your thoughts on the above, can I buy stocks or have a brokerage account as a company? what setup, location .. etc would you recommend. More reading material is also welcome. Thanks
