Cyprus Corp banking accounts

Due to the new regs.
A 'Shell Company' is a company that fulfils any one of the following criteria:

• Has no physical presence in its country of domicile ( lack of one single person as staff is construed as lack of physical presence)
• Has no establish economic activity, little to no economic value and no documentary proof to the contrary
• Is registered in a jurisdiction where companies are not required to submit to the authorities independently audited financial statements
• Has a tax residence in a jurisdiction recognized as a 'tax haven' and no tax residence whatsoever

Our bank accoutns are being closed(and any existing ones are probably under review soon). I am looking for a provider who can arrange a banking solution for these Cyrpus Corps we got to receive merchant account proceeds. An IBAN is a requirment(so no Euro PAcific bank!).

ANyone who can message me for setting up new accounts and also for new Cyprus (or other EU) corps. We are looking for an additional 20 Corps.

And yes - we are experienced merchants, just need good consultants/service providers.

btw - we are legit online - currently looking if hiring employees - offices will do the trick , but not sure... Also perhaps Cyprus might go down the drain due to all Russian things

You want to consult a local lawyer or accountant in Cyprus to help you with your setup as well as banking and other stuff. Why would you setup 20+ corps. sounds a little strange to me?

thanks - but no - a more world experienced incorp agent , introducer is better. Locals are "local" and can mainly see if from one point only. The bank accounts do not need to be in Cyprus, and preferably perhaps are best not either....

20+ may seem a little strange to you - it wouldnt be in my line of business(not going to further explain this in an open forum). These corps are in addition to the existing ones we already have.

Okay clear! My next question is then, how comes that you didn't contacted some of the big fives already! BDO | Deliotte | PriceWaterHouse | KPMG | RSM Plus ?

You must have the budget for it so why spend five minutes here to see if someone pulls up here to help you? You must be serious with plans to incorporate 20+ corps and worldwide banking needs?

why would that be any of interest to contact to the big five? i think you grossly overstate the Big Five capabilities and the only reason they are big five is because they overcharge. Sure if you want to pay 50k USD per corp for BS.

I didnt become rich by overspending.

there are many smaller specialised people out there providing such services which I have always used in the past.

You can try some of the agents that advertise on this site like Turner Little etc. You should as you say consider a man on the ground in Cyprus and a small office. Best to plan now for the future. If you drain to offshore via dividends all income the companies make I don't think stability of Cyprus in a future crisis is any worry. Or open a custody account and park excess cash in a German 10 year bond. Custody accounts are not touched in a crisis, bank bankruptcy or bail-in.

Thank fully this changed quickly and now it's possible again to get a bank account for offshore corps. as long as the ownership is transparent.
