Cyprus Double Tax Treaties

Cyprus has entered into more than 40 double-tax treaties being a low-tax jurisdiction. The general effect of these treaties is that Cyprus-registered offshore entities that have tax exemptions in Cyprus will have the same exemptions in the treaty countries. Can you mention the names of few of such countries?

That's the difference in Cyprus. Being a member of EU and a tax incentive country it has managed to sign such double tax treaties with more than 40 countries. Some of them are United Kingdom, United States , China, India, Russia, Greece, Japan, Singapore, France and Italy etc.

Cyprus has concluded 34 double tax treaties which apply to 40 countries. The main purpose of these treaties is the avoidance of double taxation on income earned in any of these countries. Some the countries covered under these treaties are Norway, Poland, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Belgium, Austria and Egypt etc. Nelsion has already mentioned the names of some major countries.
