Digital nomad visas have duration of 1 year on average, which is on par with other types of visas that are more serious than the tourist visa. Generally speaking, should opening a personal bank with digital nomad be easier?

Very much depend on your passport country.
I would you suggest to look into Personal tax free country which are offering this type of visa. To avoid tax legal headache or tax.
Having said that , Here is the list of visa

Antigua Nomad Digital Residence
Work From Bermuda visa
Global Citizen Concierge Program of cayman islands
Anguilla’s Digital Nomad
Bahamas Extended Access Travel Stay (BEATS)
Saint Lucia Live It
one-year virtual working program of Dubai
Premium Visa program for Mauritius
Seychelles Workcation Program

etc..etc

Creative Method, You are truly Digital Nomad and want to explore world in every month not worry about taxes and other legal hurdle.
There are many countries, providing the long term tourist visa , It is visa free or Visa on arrival maximum of 3 month (Depend on your country passport also)
You do not required to apply for Digital Nomad Visa. You can use long term tourist visa for your "Digital Nomad Adventure". Pay tax legally and use home country bank account.

For banking
It is Depend on your passport and home country rules and regulation. How they consider "Digital Nomad" as per tax tule.
If you are European Passport holder there are many option for you. Even you can use EMI like wise as your Bank account with card for European Passport holder.
Monese
Monzo
N26
Revolut
will be best choise.

If you are USA passport holder ""Charles Schwab"" will be best choice for you.

Otherwise your home country "Non resident account " will be best choice.

You see with EU/USA passport holder have many option.
But for Non "EU/USA" passport holder it is very tricky.

Hope this helps
