DLS and Fred MIA

@Fred I just spoke to IFZA and they do not offer Free licence renewal for life. Can you please speak to them as I believe this is something you clearly are saying should be included, when it is bot. Please help us. Thank you
DLS Dubai Residence Visa Free for Lifetime Promotion was introduced 01.08.2021 onwards till Business Closure for 1 Residence Holder of each Company - this has nothing to do with Trade License Renewal - you are mixing things up here - other DLS Dubai Clients would have reported back here otherwise anyway.

@Au999 I recall you are eligible for the Residence Visa Free for Lifetime Promotion - you did just recently the Residence Visa Renewal - can you confirm it was included?

So far beside of cutting me out IFZA did hold always their word and of course I gonna have a Conversation with them if they don't do what was agreed on.

I agree, when I hear something like this, I can imagine the next step of escalation in this logic: "you should be thankful that we didnt scam you".

Nobody should be thankful for anything. Its a service agreement, acting in good faith and integrity is supposed to be part of every professional offering corporate services. Customers agree to pay and on the other side, service providers agree to offer their services to the end. Customer paid and fulfilled their part of the deal and service provider needs to deliver their end too.

Otherwise we can call it unprofessional or even fraudulent (if the money is not refunded for failure, unless it was explicitly stated that service carries no warranty).
Did you read my entire post?

I don't know what's so difficult to understand about a Business Closure of almost 2 Years ago and a failed attempt to re-launch it because of former Business Partners like IFZA cutting ties and now work with former DLS Dubai Clients on their own?

Which Service Agreement you are referring to?

The initial Service Agreement while DLS Dubai was fully operative is fulfilled depending on when you became a client 2-5 Years ago.

I simply don't understand why people here can't accept this fact even when it's me personal who took a hit getting cut off for no reason.

@Roperfugal DLS Dubai is out as you can see yourself - all communication is with IFZA, yes they charge higher prices and yes they don't provide as good service as DLS Dubai but when they did cut us off their is nothing we can do about it - it's not that I didn't tried to take care of former DLS Dubai Clients who actually did want to work with me but as IFZA is the Licensing Authority in this case and they did cut DLS Dubai Off - technically I can't help even when I want to - again this was mentioned in a Newsletter to all DLS Dubai Clients and yes IFZA doesn't care at all.

Hope your Ego is talking coz it could be read as barely masked bullying. Sorry but that doesn't sound professional to me.
What do you think happens when Corporate Service Provider sell the Business? That's at no point a option for me and that's why I mention it here clearly as well - we got 2 hand full of offers from big Corporate Service Providers and I did refused to even talk with them as I did had plans from the very beginning to come back to help DLS Dubai Clients again however when a major Business Partner in this case a Freezone Authority doesn't hand over back the clients, cuts us off and doesn't give us the possibility to work with clients any longer - I can only move ahead and this is exactly what I do now with DLS Offshore - learned from the past and who actually wants to work with our Team and me has the possibility to do so.

@Roperfugal just a hint - if you don't want to deal with IFZA directly you can always take another Corporate Service Provider that is working with IFZA - I don't advise this as another Corporate Service Provider is adding additional costs on top without significant benefits at your current stage of just Trade License Renewal and potentially Residence Visa Renewal.

Hope this helps - you can DM me your full company name and I can tell you further details and my recommendation.

I'm in the process of arranging the renewal directly with IFZA. I actually fly out to Dubai later on this afternoon.

When I first spoke with them, they quoted me without the "Free Visa For Life" promotion, when I questioned it, they re-amended the invoice to include this.

Failing that, give IFZA a call directly and just ask them for amended invoice because you have free visa for life.

It's mandatory for all companies to provide basic insurance for their employees at visa renewal I think since January - the IFZA Life policy I used is for a company and then named employees added to this policy. I only have one employee - me - so it was easy. At 1000aed it was best value for coverage level I could find.

You could try going for medical without insurance - what's the worst that can happen...

But 100% you need it for ID and visa renewal.

And 100% you need a medical - just blood test for renewal.

One wild thing (but typically Dubai) that caught me out is even with online application for medical insurance was they wanted the PDFs filled out, then printed, signed in ink and stamped with that rubber company stamp we all needed - then rescanned and sent off. So yeah you need access to a printer and scanner. I popped to carrefour and got one for about 400aed.
Sorry, but they misled you. You don’t need insurance for yourself or for ID or visa renewal in Dubai. It’s only required by a few free zones, such as DMCC. It’s not required for IFZA or most other free zones in Dubai. Someone likely oversold you the medical insurance.

Thanks for the feedback - I'm sure this really helps others.

They try their luck - all them time - really sad to see this from a 500+ People institution.

We will prepare a Newsletter and address to all former DLS Dubai Clients so everyone is aware of this fact.

Sorry @Fred, i mean’t free visa renewal. They have quoted me an amount for this. I am waiting for their reply again based on your comments and other customer mentioned here. Can you confirm what exactly free visa renewal means? Does it mean, pro taking you to the medical check, visa renewal, UAE ID renewal. Anything else? Thanks

My comment was not about your exact scenario but about the wording you used. I dont like when businesses tell customers they should be thankful for anything, its manipulative because it appeals to emotion of guilt. You cant force people to be thankful for something, it only irritates them more

Gratitude comes from within and can't be forced

Thank you for this. Can you please clarify what free visa for life includes and not includes. Does it include someone taking you ro medical check, visa renewal and UAE renewal, etc… many thanks!

I'm sure @Fred will comment here but I think you are misunderstanding...

"Free Visa For Life" is that the visa its self is free of charge, i.e. IFZA do not charge you for the Visa. Without the "Free Visa for Life" promotion that was run, it is around 3,750 AED for the visa renewal/4,000 AED for visa renewal with salary amendment.

This doesn't include the cost of the medical or Emirates ID renewal or medical services.

As Fred mentioned before, picking you up/taking you around Dubai for the Medicals/UAE ID etc is covered under PRO services and as such, Fred is no longer offering this. You can do this directly yourself or directly with IFZA, but you need to ask them for PRO services quotation (It is between 3,500 AED to 4,400 AED depending which option you take from them).

From my understanding, Fred's former business, DLS Dubai, is no longer in operation and as such, he has no commercial relationship with IFZA and therefore isn't able to provide PRO services (plus he wouldn't benefit financially from doing so as renewals are now no longer possible through him)

Ok, i just received a reply from them:

You have visa free for trade license offer, means AED 3750 will be voided from your visa application. However, any changes (salary or designation, etc) have to be paid. And assistance with medical and EID renewal is NOT included in the promo. Visa renewal time frame 3-5 working days.

Thanks for this. It has also been clarified by IFZA. Please understand many of us have never renewed the Visa so all of this is new for us. Thanks to everyone for the clarity! ❤️

Residence Visa Free for Lifetime means that DLS Dubai pays for your Residence Visa Renewal every 2 Years as long as you keep your IFZA Trade License Active - this was agreed and discussed with IFZA - as they did cut us off - technically and financially - it should be a no brainer for them to give everyone the Residence Visa Free for Lifetime Promotion who is eligible for it especially after the did cut off DLS Dubai.

@Fred Can you please make sure you include me in those emails. For some reason Im not receiving those mails. [email protected]
Sure - will do and double check - gonna post the Newsletter here as well once sent.

@uk29 thanks for your help here in this matter - for me it's hard to get insides with IFZA nowadays.

I just spoke with IFZA CFO and he apologized and makes sure that clients get the right quotation from spot.

@Roperfugal I'm happy that all turns out positive for you and wish you further success with your FZCO Setup DLS Dubai did provide to you.

@Fred - no I paid for my visa - they said for it to be free I needed an office space.

I couldn't be bothered arguing with them and needed to renew urgently so paid lol
Terrible - will handle this matter and speak to them to make sure you get a refund.

I understand that you run Business Operations on a scale you don't have time to bother with something like this - still I want to make sure no one gets ripped off.

I keep you posted - report back here once they contact you to issue a credit note or refund for what have been paid.
