Euro Pacific bank is a scam

If the issue was that deposits were not segregated then OCIF could have made an ultimatum stating that if the money is not put back and segregated in the future than they will shut down the bank. Instead they just shut down the bank. Whatever their agenda was they didn't care about the depositors not then and not now and not in the future.
The missing deposits were not the only problem with the bank! They also did not renew their banking license multiple times and then had to pay a fine. They were asked for documents by regulators, but they refuse to submit what was asked. The list goes on and on and the bank seems to behave as if they were above the law and ultimately had to be shutdown, causing tremendous problems for customers. Then after the bank got shutdown, there was the shady deal with Qenta and it seems those who opted to move to Qenta now have their money at risk.

@john8899 I'm pretty sure Peter said the reason why they couldn't renew their license was because OCIF refused to approve it (after doing the opposite for many years). So we don't know what happened, but I guess it would make sense that Peter would sabotage his own bank for no reason... I mean why wouldn't he do that?
The shady deal with Quenta was approved by OCIF who's responsibility it should have been to safeguard the money, but I guess no government agency can be responsible for their own actions in this Universe.

Has Peter got a reply back from Qenta yet?

Some news that might be interesting:

A article from Público, dated April 4, 2025, reveals that Judge Santiago Pedraz has obtained a police document indicating that during the government of the People's Party (PP), a "political brigade" within the police orchestrated a false narrative against Pablo Iglesias, the former leader of Podemos. This narrative alleged that Iglesias received approximately $272,000 from the Venezuelan government, deposited in a Euro Pacific Bank account in the Grenadines. The document, dated April 20, 2016, details a meeting between two senior inspectors from the Directorate Adjunct of Operations and a Venezuelan individual who provided the false information and, in return, was granted residency in Spain. The fabricated documents were later disseminated to media outlets, including OkDiario, and the claim was subsequently debunked by Euro Pacific Bank, which confirmed that Iglesias never held an account there.

This incident is part of a broader investigation into the use of police resources for political purposes during the PP's tenure, aiming to undermine Podemos. The case has raised significant concerns about the misuse of state apparatus for political gain.

G Commerce DMCC business license expired back in 13/10/2023...lol.

Enter "G Commerce DMCC" in search below and see for yourself. The entity is defunct for well over a year.

https://dmcc.ae/public-register

It seems that Responsible Gold Trading DMCC has a valid license until 2026 at least according to the website. I am assuming they renewed it recently.

The other one is pretty much gone.

FYI Responsible Gold Trading DMCC license expired 3 days ago on Feb 3rd 2025. So two thirds of the parties to the agreement with EPB now defunct. Only Qenta left standing....I hope.

whats your point? Would you trust someone whose licences lapse and companies go bancrupt (in Switzerland)?
Please wake up and stop being a "fanboy" of PS...

Are you so afraid that something positive might happen? The point is that RGT's license is no longer expired. If it being expired is bad news than it not being expired is good news. Would you prefer it if it was still expired? Would that be better for you or for anyone here?
Btw I am from the PC master race so I don't appretiate being called a PS fanboy :D .
