Question Georgia credit cards payment gateway?

Hi everyone,

In the last months I'm struggling finding a gateway in order to accept credit cards for a Georgian company
I moved to Georgia, I have substance and revenue, but still alot of problems.

I tried Payssion, Rapyd, TBC e-commerce, and all refused the request, paymentwall is not anwering anymore.

The business is totally legit, with no chargebacks at all.

If anyone know how to solve this, please help

Just e-commerce of educational material, no copyright issues, but already saw processors arguing about copyright

PSPs are licensed by region under scheme regulations (Visa/Mastercard). If we take EU/EEA as an example, a card processor in EU/EEA can take customers from all of EU/EEA (and sometimes a few other European countries like Switzerland), but it cannot take merchants from Georgia. Only Georgian processors can onboard Georgian merchants. Anything else is a scheme rule violation, which carries additional risk for all parties involved and tend to cost much, much more.

You might have some luck if you form an EU subsidiary and work with EU PSPs through that subsidiary.
