Hide assets before marriage?

A wise man once told me that the key to a successful long marriage is that your money must last longer than her looks ;)

I believe that if you can keep your assets separate from the marriage, discuss finances from the very beginning, and, most importantly, have a clear agreement on how things should work, it’s not so bad. However, 99% of people tend to overlook that part because it’s uncomfortable for most to talk about, especially when deeply in love.

Impossible, as her looks suck money at exponential rate.

I tried to find a way to say marriage could work but your right sadly...lol.

Your right both parties never really talk deeply about money. I see threads where people asking how to find out if their partner has a property and is hiding it. I would recommend most men hire mossad or something to investigate their wife before marriage but ultimately avoid marriage full stop.

Im 40 now im not married

Just having fun from woman to another carefully

As im doing great business last couple of years and my income is huge im now avoiding marriage even more

Prenup agreement is the way for who ever is going to get married and carefully should be made by best lawyers

Why the hell i fight and suffer to earn and build a great business empire and someone come to get 50% if not more from my wealth?

This is the funniest thread I’ve read on OCT in a long time! Personally, I don’t think it’s a good idea to hide things from someone you’re going to marry, or are already married to.
It’s much better to keep things clearly separated through a prenuptial agreement, or whatever the equivalent might be in the country you plan to live in.

He’ll pay again unfortunately in the future lol

Facts.

She was not even married back then in below interview but already talking like his money is both of theirs when she said "Jeff and I just awarded $110m to 40 grantees"...lol. She means Jeff awarded $110m....lets keep it real here.

This dufus is doomed and should have got hint when she looked at DiCaprio like the below while he was stood right there...lol.

How about not getting married if your gonna do all that . Marriage only makes sense in patriarchal societies. In a western society where men and women have equal rights it serves no purpose....lol

I disagree, as you will provide everything needed from a financial point of view.

Humans work on incentives Ohh, why should I be loyal if I can have fun with the pool boy, and then if I leave, I get 50%

Why many people say the person changes after they get married to them, and the reason for that is that the incentive is no longer there; you have a legally binding contract.

So there is an incentive to break the contract.

Take away the incentive and the aditute suddenly is the same, and does not change, and is always the best etc...

This is why, if you set up things properly 50% out of 0 is still 0

As far as not getting married, this is an issue, especially in a more traditional society, so the above solves almost all issues, as a prenup can be thrown out, and in some places you have common law marriage etc...

The most obvious hint he ignored is hanging out with a bimbo
People don't get it for you is a lot worse, as he has billions, he can afford it. If Bezos gets a divorce, he has billions left over; his lifestyle will not change; they are just numbers on a screen for him.

Now, if you end up homeless due to divorce (like so many men, you can look up the stats), trust me, that is a lot worse than Bezos losing billions.

But that’s exactly what you’d avoid with a prenuptial agreement, if she sleeps with the pool boy, you can just kick her out and she won’t get a single euro.

Problem solved.

This is the thing some countries don't have prenuptial agreements (my country for example they are not considered even if you have one) and even if they do consider them the judge can throw them out.

With a trust you don't own it there is no discussion and you don't care what the judge says lot safer than any prenup.
