HMRC sent letters to individuals with offshore income & assets

I wonder if any of our UK friends have received any of these letters sent out by HMRC in regards to information HMRC received from US via FATCA, information received from UK crown dependencies and information received via CRS. I received a letter a letter from HMRC at an old address a while ago related to when I was a non-dom in UK years ago but issue was resolved as false positive discussed in another thread. So I know there must be many others receiving these letters or about too .

P.S I still honestly don't get why people think US is not reporting under FATCA when I made clear in other threads they can and they are reporting

But yeah you are right Martin, anybody who thinks the US doesn't report to other countries under FATCA nowadays is unfortunately mistaken.

The only one left that is promoting the US is a seller on this forum with this awesome skull banner. All others have already well noted it's not worth it and you can't avoid reporting from the US.
