Take Action!

If you want to see your site indexed ASAP, submit its URL to search engines and directories. If you wait, it can take a couple of weeks or so. I believe mine wound up on Google after about 5 days. As for your site's traffic, that needs work. If you don't "tell the world" where to find you, they won't. An unadvertised website is like a speaker lecturing to an empty hall.

Building some back links would help your site to get indexed from search engines. This is the reason why there are companies that are doing some back linking service for webmasters.
