They've been around forever, and on paper everything looks perfect: US/UK bank accounts to get paid to and easy withdrawals to local bank accounts. They also provide a card that can be used to make purchases or withdraw money from ATMs.

It's true that their service is slightly expensive though. For example, that 3% charge on card transactions. However, it seems that using them mainly to get paid to US/UK accounts and then withdraw that money to local bank accounts around the world, with the occasional card transaction, shouldn't be really that expensive.

I wouldn't use them for one's main businesses though, but for a side business/hobby earning around $10k-$20k a year they don't seem that bad.

But, is there something else that one should worry about when using their service? Are they trigger-happy? Do they block accounts and freeze money for months?

When wise close your account they ask you for a bank account that belong to you or your company to send you your money

Same with Mercury and same with Relay

But Payoneer close your account and you wont ever get your money back until you take them to the court
