If you were unable to open an account in Switzerland for your AG - where would you open an account for your company?

We have already Neobanks, we want a real bank.

Almost every retail bank in EU will open bank account for Swiss AG if there will be a reasonable connection to the country (like citizenship of shareholder / director, customers, suppliers..)

How would you go about to approach a Swiss bank? just walk in there and show them your company docs. Or do you do it online at some form you complete or what is the best approach? Maybe OP did it wrong?

Have you considered Wise or SwissQuote.ch?

Also, CIM Bank opens account for all kinds of foreign companies so I guess they will open one for a Swiss company too. Have you tried them?

In theory any country. E.g. the UK, traditional banking country.
But if absolutely not Swiss bank will open an account for your Swiss AG your Swiss AG is useless.
You picked the wrong country.
Switzerland is great if you either want to have actual business in Switzerland with a somewhat strong connection to the country or as a holding location. But for holdings in general there are better locations unless maybe all/most your important directors live in Switzerland themselves and don't want to move.
Unless you have some connection or other good reason, I would not go with a Swiss holding.
Then again, if you do, why won't a Swiss bank open an account for you?

Sorry blizz, without disclosing why anyone with a Swiss Ag want or cannot open bank accounts in Switzerland all answers could be rubbish

As foreigner or non resident, best to go with the agent who you need anyway for the company setup. They actually should be able to help and if they halfway decent know at least a bank which they work with.
