Is this possible with a PayPal account?

As for now I know that to verify your paypal account you have 2 options available to verify your paypal account.


1. use your credit card to verify


2. paying money to the account / transfer


My friend didn't do above and his account got verified, what he got was money from about several verified paypal users which made his account verified

uh, I haven't really heard such things. But I guess if he could do it....Now I really want to know if that's possible. Maybe ask their customer service?

I was only aware that your account could get verified if you added a credit card. Perhaps your friend is a bit confused as I can not see how he would have gotten his Paypal account verified.

You can verify your account with a debit card too. You can easily transfer money from your account into your debit account. Or even vice versa.

Maybe your friend buy a vcc. When you have a non-verified account, you can still doing a small transaction, so you can just buy a cheap vcc to verified your paypal account

I don't think debit cards aren't allowed. My brother tried it but Paypal didn't accept it. It had the Visa sign on it so it should have been accepted.

This is the first time I am hearing such a thing. I got my PayPal account verified using VCC most of the banks provide VCC options by which you can use them using your debit cards and account balance.
