Multi Member US LLC - Resident & non-resident Members

[Novice]

A friend of mine lives in Texas. I'm a non-resident. We're about to open an LLC in Delaware.

LLC will be manager managed (I'm going to manage it). My friend (the other member) won't manage the company.

We won't specifically do business in Texas.

Do we have to open another LLC in Texas?

Unless you have a store front or lots of business there answer is most likely no
