Offshore for privacy protection regarding adult online business

Based in the UK, I'm setting up an adult (of a sexual nature) dating site. It will be for the UK market. I want to protect my privacy and forming a UK company seems to fly in the face of that - eg my name would be publicly available at companies house.

To that end, I've looked into forming a Delaware LLC, however it seems if i want to use CCBill as a payment processor, they will need US ID which i dont have obviously.

I am perfectly happy to pay UK taxes by the way My turnover in the first year will most likely be pretty low anyway.

I wondered if anyone had any suggestions on what i can do.

As far as I know you can appoint a offshore company to be shareholder and drector of a UK company and only have a secretary visible there where you can use a nominee, have you checked if that is possible?

I agree with auric. if it's possible to register a offshore company to be director and shareholder for your UK company that would be the best.

Is there a particular offshore jurisdiction eg Cyprus or Delaware that is better?

Also would this scenario imply an offshore bank account or could I get a UK bank account?

I would setup a company in the Seychelles or Belize, easy, cheap and works. You keep your banking with the UK company, no need to open any account for the offshore corp.
