I have read lot articles describing he doesn't plan at all. Digging deeper,

http://www.china.org.cn/english/2006/Mar/163123.htm

It seems he practise Zen. Basically, opposite of Uncle Martin.

Couldn't find in the text that Mr Putin practises budism and does not plan. The quote is

Before his departure Putin, who holds a black belt in judo, visited the Shaolin Temple for a taste of Buddhism and martial arts. Shaolin, established some 1,500 years ago in central China's Henan Province, is renowned for combining martial arts and Zen Buddhism which features long sessions of meditation.

It appears as a polite diplomatic visit at that time. Can you share a source for the claim about budism and zen?

Budism is all about mindfulness. There is a semantical and psychological difference between Western interpretion of planning and setting goals and Asian one. The later is far better.

I said Zen not Buddhism. Basically, Zen works by living now and act according to changing conditions whereas in West it is about planning ahead and taking hypothetical situations into account.

It was Sergei Pugachev said that Putin doesn't plan. I couldn't find article now. I have read it couple years ago.

There's another article I found today

Strictly philosophically, Zen is Buddhism school. And, in the article that you quoted, Mr Putin visited Shaolin, a Zen Buddhism temple.

You refer to these

https://www.businessinsider.com/sergei-pugachev-says-putin-not-evil-2014-11

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jul/28/sergei-pugachev-putins-banker-interview-lives-in-fear

for a claim that Mr Putin doesn't strategize?

In both articles, impulsivness is implied on Mr Putin's side; but, Zen Buddihsm neither implies lack of planning nor impulsivness.

I assess that Mr Putin does strategize but due to different mindsets and cultures, Western people and foes (for obvious reasons) do not comprehend his actions properly.

But, perhaps, you may be right.

Yes, you found the articles.

What I am saying is if he is enlightened, it is impossible to plan let alone thinking about future.

Because I had the experience of it. Sudden enlightenment but lost it because Time wasn't right back in then. Still biggest regret. I felt like a king.

I don't have sources for an assumption about Mr Putin's enlightenment. He does strategize and meta-communicate, which implies not only high fluid intelligence but also profound insight and comprehension. But I don't assess that he is a Zen buddhist

Different mind states exist and not only those provoked by external chemical influences fin4774"

What you experienced is described in neuroscience and psychological literature. People that lead are most often given the enlightement moment while scientists and athletes may enter a hyper-focused state of mind. Artists have an experience of synergy where different perceptions create and provoke higher sensory qualities.
