Question Question about amazon FBA USA

Hi I work with European Union manufacturing company and we are looking to start selling on amazon FBA USA, I have a question if someone is knowledgeable about the topic
Do we need to form USA LLC for this purpose or can we operate as our EU entity? USA LLC is mandatory to collect sales tax but I read that amazon can collect it on behalf of sellers, does anyone know if it's true?

You can register your EU company as a foreign corporation in the US. Better to seek advice from a U.S. tax advisor though.
