I recently founded an FZCO in IFZA.
The consultant that had assisted me had told me IFZA’s AoA and MoA weren’t editable; I would have been free tho, to write down (in English) my own shareholder agreement (only one rule: avoid conflict vs IFZA’s standard AoA/MoA).
Now, another consultant has just told me MoA and AoA are actually editable, as long as IFZA approves the edits.
Secondly, he told me any shareholder agreement must be written both in English and Arab and get notarized (?), otherwise would be legally void.
Who’s right here?
In any case, can anyone recommend any corporate law firm in Dubai to assist me in writing down that shareholder agreement?
