I find that all those governments from all over the world spend a lot of tax payers moneys in stupid things. For example, the USA budget for defense is $600 billions. The Russian army budget is only $61 billions.
In west Europe with the socialist mindset, the governments want to spend money in everything. They want to build big museums, libraries in era of internet, fund all music festivals, favor businesses for no reasons. The expenses of administration are not rationalized.

I see in my entourage very naïve people who think that it is ok and that there will be no tax hikes anymore. Now, there is the COVID-19, and the number of unemployed people boomed. The governments decided to give helicopter money to everyone. With this socialist mindset will lead to a dead end. It is a solution for the short term. Then, they will have to increase taxes. However, I am sure they are not going to rationalize public expenses. I am sure that they still want big armies, too many state workers, subsidized arts and immigration, subsidized public transport...

They decided to sacrifice the economy.

The offshore solution/EMI is the only solution because in Europe, no politicians are interested in protecting people's assets and businesses. I am not an oracle in saying that businesses are going to be used as cash cow in the post Covid crisis.
The fools are going to pay the price.

Its all GONE... I started telling people that I feel lucky that I got out just in time last year, and staying on in Thailand with a work permit while this manipulative insanity has taken over the world was totally the right decision this far!

The West has reached the same point on its trajectory as the Soviet Union around Breshnev, and there will be NO Gorbachev - it will go down in a vicious fight between the different factions killing off any real economy and private initiative with rules on a new, psychotic level...
