That is, if you aren't one. Many small business owners and managers do not appreciate the value of an accountant at start up. From my experience, most would want to hire one only a the latter part- when they can no longer make sense of their record-keeping. Big mistake. An accountant could help you start your business right and make sure you don't waste your resources on unnecessary and really costly start-up errors.
 
Thats true, but if you haven't grown your business to effort an accountants then you won't be able to split your work load and must do it all your self :(
 
Then consult one or take courses. Safegurading assets is critical especially to small start up businesses and accountants can help you with that. Many small busineeses fail every year because of this tactical error.
 
You can hire an accountant if you can afford it but if not consult ,it's much wiser or as gwenpinay has said take a crashcourse on how to put up a business and taking care of it.
