hey im looking to purchase virtual-landline numbers in BOSTON - anyone knows the best website for purchasing?

I have an office in the Philippines and they use ZOIPER for my service in LONDON for receiving calls- also i need advice for the best app for softphone. ? zoiper is for free but it's not the best option. I need an app to fit few numbers in.

depends whether you use SIP or IAX

For my voip provider I am happy with voip.ms, but there are a few other good providers available. You can use behind any sip or iax phone or software, or even install a small pbx (can be built for less than $50).
For mobile access on iPhone, I highly recommend mysudo or sudoapp.

I use Skype for my Miami phone number. I receive my SMS and phone calls without any trouble.
