There are so many suitable locations across the world for setting up offshore company and related business. These places are geographically located on or around Caribbean islands, Indian oceans,North America etc. Some of the specific nations for offshore business are BVI,Belize,Cyprus,Panama,Gibraltar,Nevis etc. There are some other locations too.But which are best for offshore business?

I don't believe in there is any BEST offshore jurisdicition, I would rather say it depends on what it is you want, what are your goals you seek and what is your business!

Strange just had the same question in another thread, I was wondering about the same, according to the professionals, Bahams, Delaware and Seychelles are the Top 3 countries.

Hello friends

The best suitable Location for offshore business with around 50 countries in the world offering tax benefits to offshore business, it is only logical to ask which offshore country is the best to incorporate in. Some of those countries are very popular and have an inherent image of offshore tax havens - like British Virgin Islands, Panama or Belize. It is less known that some attractive tax benefits are on offer to some types of non-resident businesses in places that do not ring the bell as "tax-havens" - for instance, UK, US, Holland, Iceland or Denmark.

There can be no standard reply as to which is the best offshore jurisdiction. That answer really depends upon the intended use of the offshore company, upon the personal and business circumstances of its owners and upon the various tax regulations in force in the countries where the offshore company will engage in business.

Before going into the particular detail, it would however be useful to define what is a tax haven, anyway

As flora mentioned, there is no "best" offshore jurisdiction, it depends very much on what type of business you are into and what your goals are, for instant if it is investment business and you want to take this to a offshore company / jurisdiction you will have plenty of options available, like Belize, Seychelles, Bahamas, BVI etc. however if you are doing some sort of online business, I would recommend you to take advantage of a jurisdiction which still is offering you some major tax benefits as well as is a member of the European Union like Cyprus.

Hello friends

Chances are, you've heard the term "location, location, location" more than a few times. But if you're in the throes of creating a spectacular menu for your new restaurant or finding wholesalers for your first retail store, it might not be the first thing on your mind.

It's time to put location at the top of your to-do list. If you're preparing to open a food or retail business with a storefront, putting your business in the proper location might be the single most important thing you do at startup. Of course you need a winning product, too, but how will anyone know about that product unless you get them through the door?

"In the brick-and-mortar retail world, it's said that the three most important decisions [you'll make] are location, location and location," affirms Irene Dickey, a lecturer in management and marketing at the University of Dayton's School of Business in Dayton, Ohio. "Careful determination of new sites is critical for most retail and consumer service businesses."
