Your opinion on Afrasia Bank (Mauritius)

Afrasia is the 3rd largest bank in Mauritius in terms of AUM (assets under management).

1. Would you bank with them for personal usage?
2. What's the maximum you would keep with them? (USD)
3. Do Mauritius banks have anything similar to U.S.'s bank deposit insurance?
4. MCB or Afrasia, which one is better for long term storage of cash?

about 6 years or so I banked with them, used an introducer to help me open an account for a Mauritius company that the agent setup for me.

I had nothing to worry about or negative to report at this time, worked for me 2 yers or so.
