Wrapped Monero vs Monero XMR why?

I just tried to move my Monero to Ledger X device.

There is no Monero XMR but only Wrapped Monero WXMR ?? What the heck is that and how can I load the ledger with monero XMR ?

Ledger doesn't have an app for Monero, you need to download the official Monero GUI and create a hardware wallet there.

If you just want to invest in xmr and not use it for payments, WXMR can be fine

WXMR is a erc20 token that represents xmr. It is simply a way to replicate xmr on the Ethereum blockchain.
