IBKR alternatives (based outside the US) for non-US / non-EU citizens?

Have you used them or know anyone who has? Their website still has a copyright mark from 2016, and I can't find anything more about them on OCT. I want to give them a go but would like to know if you/anyone has experience there?
They changed it to 2017

Has anyone used them, I have applied for an account and the KYC requirements are easy peace, but won't put my money in there to never see it again.

If it's not too much to ask (and off-topic), what non-us, non IBKR broker would you recommend that allows for US ETFS, options and corporate bonds? These brokers you all mention seem to offer stocks/ETFs + options, but bonds (corporate/sovereign) seem to be cut off. I just wonder if there's a similar solution to IBKR without it being IBKR.

@Martin Everson maybe you could help? Also @Nigital Domad if you find this not suitable to be in your thread, I'll move it elsewhere or send DM, don't want to mess it up, I just think we all may benefit with the info, if any.

Thanks.

I think I mentioned it earlier, Charles Schwab Hong Kong.

Thank you for this @Clank , I daresay your contributions in this forum are very useful, so kudos to you and thank you.

I saw your post regarding Schwab HK, but unfortunately, it does not allow me to open, as it redirects to "international" once you select any residency outside their top of the list ones. I'm already with Schwab, and I find the platform "lean and old" and a bad user experience overall (not intuitive, data not properly shown, some pages take ages to load, ie, not a good platform to deal with), so I'm looking for something better. I mentioned IBKR because, having been with them, I didn't like their margin trading policies, it's all fun and games with the low commissions, but margin-trading conditions are of the worst caliber for me, hence the need to move out.

About the differences opening a brokerage account between Charles Schwab International Hong Kong and Charles Schwab International US, I understand that cash held in the HK entity will not be subject to US estate tax however I'm unsure it's possible to get the debit card as with the US entity.
Are there any other pros/cons?
