Choice Bank of Belize faces liquidity problems

Сollect evidence, write claims, prepare a case for trial, search the ways for decision by researching practice and laws. A lot of things.

Your position like - a dental take out your tooth, and you say - oh put it back) But that's your way anyway.

That is true, those that had lawsuits get the money before we do.But there is NOTHING a lawyer can do now..it is too late.We have to wait for the liquidator.

Elian: you read please.

. File a Schedule of Proposed Actions to be taken for the winding-up of Choice Bank Limited with the Central Bank of Belize and commence partial distribution (by 28 February 2019)

yup, i read that part too, doesn't sount too promissing.

The only thing they can do is help you in this liquidation process, which isnt much: getting papers ready, writing claims for you and that is about it. It is too late for a lawsuit, the bank is already in liquidation process that is conducted by the terms of law.

The announcement says "notify each person whose claim is allowed in full" and then "commence partial distribution (by 28 February 2019)" .So i'm guessing some people will get all their funds back and somepeople will get only a part of their money. It probably depends on how much money you had in your account. Hopefully we're all in the category of people with not a lot of money. Stay positive, it's not over yet, there's still hope.

  1. The Liquidator will publish, on or before 28 August 2018, a claim form, NOTICE FOR FILING CLAIM, for all Depositors, Creditors and Lessees of Choice Bank Limited, along with the appropriate instructions for submitting your claim, as well as the different ways in which you may submit your claim;
  2. You may wish to gather details of your claim (along with any documentation which will support your claim) in preparation for submission to the Liquidator.

I know about 28. But according to my personal opinion, you need to prepare for this: explore legislation, collect evidence, search examples of claims). I have a doubt that liquidator will give you strict instruction on how to get your money back. He is on the other side of the barricade.
