I will build a 3 laye offshore company setup to protect my assets, privacy and money :) I'm still looking at the best 3 layered offshore company setup at the moment, need to figure out how to exactly do that and where all the offshore companies shall be incorporated.

I wonder if the only reason for I need a PoA is if I appoint a nominee director and shareholder in my offshore company? What if I have a nominee director only and I'm the shareholder?

It may be worth to look into a Hong Kong company formation for my 3 layer offshore company setup so I know where to get it. @hugger, do you by chance know if we have to travel to Hong Kong for the setup? or can it be done remote?
