If you can get hold of a real offshore banking account like in Mauritius, Belize or Cook Islands or something do so, otherwise a Cyprus bank account may still be a good option if you can get one. Seems they have tighten their policy and the way they approve new accounts and customers.

It was back in the old days not today any more unless you have a bankers reference letter, clean documents and company structure not doing business with anything they don't understand.

Major benefit is that you can get one in Cyprus while in most other countries it isn't possible at all. There are still countries where citizens can't get a regular bank account so a Cyprus bank account may come handy.

Yeah Hellenic bank and Piraeus Cyprus are great banks if they still accept new clients.
