I've noticed Anjouan licenses are becoming more popular lately for online crypto casinos, but I’ve also seen people advise against them due to potential banking issues.

For example, https://bc.game is using a Belize company structure with an Anjouan license,so clearly it's workable at a decent scale. But I’m curious:

Which banks or EMIs are currently accepting clients with an Anjouan license? Specifically for off-ramping profits from crypto not for accepting player deposits, which would be handled entirely in crypto.

I’m trying to figure out the best structure for a new casino launch. Wondering if Anjouan is a viable option in 2025 from a banking standpoint, or if Curaçao is still the safer bet when it comes to banking.

There are several EMIs (but not many banks) that accept Anjouan licensed gambling operators.

One of the biggest main reasons you probably can't find them named or listed anywhere is that there is more to an application than just the license. An Anjouan license in the hand of someone competent is worth more than an Estonian license in the hand of someone incompetent.

Anjouan licences don't exist! Its a fraudster selling fancy paper. Sometimes I am wondering what sort of DD some people do...
Could you tell me more about that, I would like to know. I think you have talked the wrong people - And again, why should exchanges like Binance accept the certificates if it was fake :-)

have you ever been to the Comoros?

I have been there a couple of times and spoke to the Governor of the Central Bank, the Minister of Finance and the Minister of Economy.
Anjouan is a semi-autonomous island and has NO offshore center and no legislation. Its a strict muslim country why should they licence Gambling? There is even a press release from the Central Bank Governor about all these fake Anjouan Regulator and Licences.

A simple Google search gives you plenty of insight.

Yes, Amirdine Mohamed has visited Dubai many times so yes, it does exist. The link you’ve shared doesn’t say Anjouan or its authorities are fictional it highlights that fraudsters are misusing the name of Comoros and Anjouan to promote fake licenses and unauthorised entities. That’s a real issue, but not the same as saying nothing exists.

Also, the point about gambling doesn’t quite hold. The UAE is also a Muslim country, and yet it now has a national lottery and has announced plans for regulated casinos. Local law and economic strategy vary, even in Islamic jurisdictions. It’s not unusual for regulatory frameworks to coexist with conservative traditions, it depends entirely on the government’s stance and structure.

oh my god. Believe whatever you want to believe. Its fake. Period. Its subject to investigations from different law enforcment agencies in Europe. Period. This fraud is now going on for at least 15 yeats. Comoros lacks the resources for effective law enforcment and is utterly corrupt. Thats why this fraud can last so long.
