also just locking an account is a very bad behavior. Normal banks dont do this.

You know why they need to perform liveness checks frequently? That's why:

You opened the account and all was good. Until you walked around on OCT and @nurredon told the bank monkeys that "Schrödinger's guy" owns some account. They checked Wikipedia and figures out, you are probably already half dead. At least!

It’s completely amateurish and an unnecessary service that you should stay far away from, unless you want to support them with small amounts that end up frozen until they return from vacation.

The vacation is probably paid for with all the frozen funds.
