Anonymous offshore company in 2011 still available or just bs?

I need to know if it is possible to incorporate a offshore company anonymous or if this isn't an option in 2011 any longer?


What exactly does it mean that a offshore company is anonymous, does it has any effect on trading with the company, means, other business won't do business with the company?


Will a anonymous offshore company protect the assets they own if the beneficial / ultimate beneficial owner goes bankruptcy?

As far as I know only the Seychelles is offering 100% anonymity for your offshore company, but hopefully, someone will tell me that there are other places

Seems other possibilites are Belize, Panama, Mauritius, BVI and Bermuda anyone has any comment to the mentioned offshore jurisdictions?

Belize is still a good place to incorporate a offshore company.

In the last few years, greater transparency has been one of the goals pursued by international organisations such as the OECD, the FATF, and the EU, and while before the events of September 11th 2001 it was possible for offshore jurisdictions to claim that this was merely a disguised attempt on the part of the high-tax countries to undermine competition from the low-tax countries, after September this attitude became much less sustainable.

As long as there are rich people, healthy businesses and these countries exists this will never disappear. Many of the large corporations around have worked out a perfectly legal offshore structure to pay less tax, one of them is Google, Microsoft, Coca Cola and so on!
