Are they a valid bank to open offshore bank account with for Belize and non Belize offshore companies? You know them? Are they good?

The bank is listed as an international bank on the Central Bank of Belize's website. It's a real bank (formerly called British Caribbean Bank International Ltd.) and, as far as I know, they accept foreign companies.

Banks in Belize aren't very picky. You will find that most so-called International Banks in Belize open accounts for almost anyone who can fill in their application forms.

That sounds actually very good. I tried to open an account with them for about 10 days ago but so far no response:s-confused:

Did you send them an email with the application documents? Were you in touch with them before sending the application?

I used their contact form but no response yet.

They have email addresses under "Other Contact Options". Have you tried one of those?


10 days is extremely long to wait for a reply. I wouldn't wait more than a few days before moving on. Heritage Bank and Choice Bank usually respond the same day or at latest the next day.

Why would you want to open an account with a bank that doesn't respond to your emails?

I just don't have a ressource person there. I have many check to clear ( US and CAD) and they are supposed to be the best for that.
