I second that. Opening a bank account in Cyprus is very difficult task..It will take 7 to 10 days to open an account which is quite frustrating to wait. Furthermore you are required to submit all the needed documents.

I agree that it takes time to get a Cyprus bank account, it is little bit frustrating also but you think, if you want something better, you'll need more effort. Now-a-days, there don't have any other better choice than Cyprus.

Most of the bank account these days supports online banking. Just email your bank or visit them personally to make things clear. Go to another bank if they don't support online banking yet! Because that's very old and technology is a big part of industry today

Now in modern time, all banks have online banking facilities. You just have to request them for your account credential.
It's their duty to manage the security things, you no need to worry about. Now banking sector spends more about online security.
Online security is a great factor indeed with online banking. This is the reason why I put a different password on my accounts so that once a hacker gets into one of my accounts, he couldn't touch my others easily.

We all should follow this. Never use same password in different places. It's part of personal safety BUT every bank have very strong privacy guard and secured ways to keep away hackers. We can't imagine how much they spends for the security part.

Not all banks have strong security, one of the banks in my country just got breached few months ago and some personal information of a highly valued person was leaked and its currently being used to bad propaganda. We just can't avoid it because some of their own employee are the rats and will sell these supposedly secured information to the highest bidder if ever it comes to that.

Its from the Philippines. Yes it was election time last month in our country. I can't disclose the candidate's name but he won even though he was being attacked by black propaganda, most specifically about his bank accounts having large amount of money. The real question is how is his opponent got that information from a 'secured' bank without the permission of the bank itself or the owner.

I guess someone might have leaked it. Hacking shouldn't be easy, I hope.
