Hi everyone, I',m new to this forum, but am finding it very usefull and the services provided seem to be solid.

I want to open a company in Cyprus (not Cyprus resident,no VAT and Tax), 80% of my customers are EU based, but I need to be able to take payments through Paypal, and to protect my privacy I would also consider a nominee director.

My questions are:

- if I use only nominee directors, not shareholders, will my details be available in public records in Cyprus (and therefore to any EU tax institution)? If yes do I need nominee shareholders in order to gain complete privacy? How safe and legally efficient it is to have nominee shareholder- I mean what document guarantees me full control of my business once the shares are with a nominee??

- assuming I take nominee director, and I want to sign up to Paypal (in order to be able to withdraw funds to a debit card registered on the Cyprus company), Paypal at signup asks not only the name of the business entity but also the principal (director - must be a physical person not business entity) and some other details of the director of the business so do I have to use the names of the nominee director that you provide? The way I see it is that once I use my own details when signing up with Paypal all my privacy would be compromised as you never know where Paypal are sending all the information they gather about directors!

Thank you.

You need both nominees i.e Director and shareholder to avoid to be public listed at the registry of companies in Cyprus.

There is no risk if you use the right CSP for this service.

for PayPal, yes you need to use the information of the nominee director which we will provide you with.
