Designing costs for shopping site

What would be an average design costs of a shopping site. I am interested in launching my own shopping site however I am not sure about the costs of designing such sites. I have a budget of slightly around 500$ for the designs. What do you think would be a costs for designing a shopping site.

You should be able to make it for about the $500 your budget is.


Have you looked into some of those Templates you often can get very cheap for the major shopping carts?


Btw. which shopping cart do you have in mind?
