When setting up Google Pay it requires one's country and address. And it appears that they must match those that's in my bank account. It's not the country wherein a bank is located, but my own address that's saved in my bank.

I don't want to reveal to Google such information unless absolutely necessary.

If I specify a dfiferent country and address, will my bank be able to find out about this? Does Google Pay share and syncronise such information with the bank? Or why does Google Pay need this information in the first place?

What I want to avoid is a situation when my bank asks me "what's that unknown address you've specified at Google Pay? Huh? Lying to the Police Google ... against our rules "

Apparently, it's not a big deal to specify one's current country (meaning, any) which may not match the one in a bank
