Getting the Bulgarian residency

I'm in somewhat similar situation as you, and I've chosen to become a resident in Cyprus, while doing my banking outside the EU.

@OTR365: I have similar thoughts, what's your feedbacks about Cyprus?

Why Cyprus and not Bulgaria in your case?

I own several companies in BG and I have friends who left France to settle their companies there.
