Wondering what some good jurisdictions would be to form a company in to operate as a holding company for holding title to small value assets would be. Stuff like a few thousand dollar Jetski, 4 Wheelers, UTVs. Mostly vehicles that have max value of below $10K for example. Ideally somewhere with no annual fees is the question. Only looking for jurisdictions excluding the United States and ones that do not list ownership/director data publically where I can use a nominee. No need for banking so can be very obscure jurisdictions even just want low costs dont want $2000 in renewal fees for example.

Well, you have to pay someone something to keep the company alive, especially if you want a nominee as well.

UK is very cheap but your name would appear on public record. Nominees don't prevent that.

Seychelles and Belize are probably the closest matches. Low cost and privacy. If a government body asks for information, they will of course have to disclose ownership. So it depends on what your threat is. Expect around 1–2,000 USD setup and a bit less than that in annual renewal if you want a professional nominee provided by the service provider. Remove a few hundred if you opt out of nominee.

But speak with a lawyer first to make sure what you plan to do is possible, legal, and accomplishes what you want it to accomplish.

Ya seems Seychelles or Belize could be the best options for what I would be looking to accomplish. Really just putting "Toys"(Jetski,4x4,ATV) into a holding company that is seperate from my other stuff. This crap isn't even insured so I do not need a bank account for insurance payouts or anything like that.

Mostly concerned about privacy. Namely making sure no one can figure out what country I am living in.

Very interesting, joining the question.

Can you register Jetski\4x4 to a foreign company? Won't the country you spend most time in eventually ask you to register it in its jurisdiction as well?
I'd imagine that would depend on the jurisdiction your in with the vehicle/off-road vehicle/personal watercraft. That being said I know in America people register cars in holding companies out of state all the time. This is why you see high end cars in America driving with Wyoming plates all over(Georgia and other states have gone after this though as sales tax evasion but I dont think their is an issue with the vehicle registration)

in the EU i think you have to be registered where the vehicle is driven in the case of cars. People have yachts registered in foreign jurisdictions all the time. I don't suspect on PWC or 4x4 that your gonna have much problems unless your in insane EU with their rules for everything short of how to walk.

I don't own cars or these other toys in the EU or America though so no idea. All this stuff is down in the Caribbean for me.

And what if these assets are located in a jurisdiction which don't recognize trusts?
that's a valid question. However, most often you will have to run the law suite in the jurisdiction of where the trust is recognized. That's of course only if your enemy want to overrule your setup.

Make sure to take all assets you want to protect under this trust, to the country of where it is registered or another secure country.

they will go after the real owner and your setup is waste of time, if they can figure out who the owner is.
If the jurisdiction does not recognize trusts then it is likely that the trustee would be reqognized by a local court as the legal owner and will look no further.
