Have 2 Laptops want to sync them, what software to use?

I just bought two new laptops (they are identical) - I need them for work. I would like to have some always be sync which each others i.e. if I do something on one laptop the same will be on the other. This is e-mail, web browser, microsoft products and documents.

What would be the best and less complicated way to do that?

Email: use IMAP, not POP3.
Browser: Chrome allows you to synchronize all your devices where you are logged in.
MS: use online docs.

that way he wont have exact clone of file system, i think he is after that (both laptops to be 100% the same all the time, including file system, os settings...)

Obviously impossible, he could RDP to a Windows instance somewhere which would be the closest alternative

You set up a server somewhere with Windows and then log in from either laptop using Remote Desktop.

What @JohnnyDoe said plus a cloud provider like onedrive, dropbox, etc. to sync files. Sync the download folder, documents, etc.
