How on earth is EUSSR still standing?

Sure thing, that's why every Chinese person with more than 200 dollars in his pocket is doing anything he can to escape.

I agree and I suspect it's because a lot of the participants of the forum are originally Russian (for decades the nation with highest demand for 2nd passports and offshore accounts, alongside China)

At this rate anyone in the EUSSR with a bit of savings is going to do everything they can to escape, I already did, no more EUSSR for me, I only regret not having left a decade ago.
The biggest exodus is taking place in Canada, US, Australia, and EUSSR.

European expats will help improving the countries where they moved.
African and Asian immigrants will take care of dismantling the EUSSR and will build something more of their like.

This is a graphic about where high net worth individuals are, obviously the US and China, but it has nothing to do with what I'm talking about, I haven't mentioned anything about rich people, my comment is about people leaving western countries to tax friendly territories like Bubai, Panama, Costa Rica, Thailand, Belize, Paraguay, Uruguay.
Check out the number of people, wealthy or not, that have moved to Bubai in just the last 5 years.

And why do you mention EUSSR? You are exaggerating.
I could give you so many examples, come to Communist Spain and you'll understand.
I have a summer home full of squatters and I can't kick them out because they are protected by the Communist government of Spain, the list is endless, hopefully in one or two more years I will be able to kick the squatters out of my summer home, so says my lawyer, in the meantime no summer home for me while I keep paying the mortgage.

Switzerland has also a strong tenant protection law

Massive difference between a Tenant and a Squatter, 20k homes have been occupied by Squatters during the last year in Spain, it takes anywhere from 1 to 2 years to kick them out, and you are not allowed to cut the electricity or the water supply, if you do you get charged and sentenced for coercion, punishable with up to 2 years in jail plus a fine, it doesn't matter if it's your primary or secondary home, Squatters are protected by the Communist government, so yes this is definitely the EUSSR, I'll be selling that summer home once I can get rid of the squatters and I'll never go back to Spain. Portugal is no different, another Communists government.

"EUSSR" "Communist" and now "Squatter". I didn't take your wordings seriously in your previous comment.
Looks like Communist/Socialist are overused and meaningless in this forum.

Or simply close any ties to the whole EU if you hate it so much instead of complaining.

As soon as I can sell that property I'll have no ties to the EUSSR, and by the way I don't hate anything, I just don't care, plenty of countries in the world to live freely.
Sheeps like you are the main problem of the EUSSR, you support the useless Socialist/Communist politicians of the EUSSR, keep giving your hard earned money to your government till the day you die, it's obvious that you enjoy doing it.

Who hurt you? Did I?

Never said that I support it. I don't like paying high taxes but that doesn't mean I'm about to whine like you do right now.
I asked not too long ago if I can pay a flat 100k tax on my earnings in Italy and even considered moving to Dubai for tax purposes.

Don't waste your time with Italy and their flat tax rate, maybe Portugal under the NHR if you still want to stay in Europe, otherwise you have plenty of countries with 0% tax, besides Dubai you have Thailand, Costa Rica, Belize, Panama, etc all those do not require minimum stay in the country, not even the need to go there every 6 months like Dubai does, best of luck.

getting rid of them is one of those things

theres also companies that help getting them 'removed'

Well, I ended up getting arrested for 24 hours, and then charged for coercion, not that I care about that, but from jail there's nothing you can do, those companies that help to get rid of them can charge quite a bit, at the end of the day only a court order is what matters, but the legal system is so slow, I try not think about it, makes my blood boil!
I used to live in the US, I could shoot them over there and it wouldn't be such a big deal.
The squatters had the never to tell me "give us ten thousand euros and we will leave" I told them to go to hell!

its ok you dont go to jail for that. They could charge me with whatever they want but I aint paying no bills.

i mean its murder only when theres a body and probable cause

I feel your pain. I lived in Spain for years and I saw this s**t happen multiple times.
tbh the best solution was most of the time to just wait outside without being noticed and have a 'talk' with the dude in the middle of the forest.

ik it might not be the most by-the-book way, but sometimes you have to do things your way.

That’s why you should own an excavator and a large garden

An old friend, who was born in Sicily, (no comment about that,) said to me: "as long as there is no body there is no crime."

In the case of my squatters there are three of them enjoying free electricity, free water, my furniture, my Tv set, my laundry machine, my air conditioning, and of course the swimming pool, we have to thank the Communist government of Spain for that.
