how to reduce extra expenses in Home?

I am from a normal middle level family. I have to run my family in $600 per month. My salary is not that much that iI can run my family easily. Even i need to save some money for any type of urgency in future. Can anyone tell me in which ways i can save some of my money by reducing some extra expenses?
