I have a Wise account registered with a German address, but I no longer live in Germany. What should I do?

A few years ago, I moved to Germany and changed my address to the German one. Now, I have moved out of Germany and am living temporarily in Switzerland. For CRS (Common Reporting Standard) and tax purposes, should I change my address to the one in Switzerland, or does it not matter since if they report to Germany, they will know I no longer live there?

How long is the stay? Will you be tax resident in both Germany and Switzerland at the same time, or only one of them?

If it's a short stay (less than a couple of months) and you're going back to Germany afterwards, I wouldn't bother with it.

If it's an indefinite stay and you don't intend to return to Germany, notify Wise of your Swiss address (and Swiss TIN if/when you have it).

No I'm registered off in German and tax registered in Switzerland. I don't know, maybe I will stay here (CH) for a year or 2. I will not go back to Germany at all.

In that case, notify Wise. It's best that they find out from you at your initiative than any other way.
