Yes, they do offer credit card processing if you aplly for a merchant account. Offshore banks like BCB only accept Non-Belizeans as customers, called foreigners ...

What to you mean by "high risk business" ?

Most often this covers; Adult, Gambling (online Casino's, Poker etc.), Pharmacy business, MLM and other stuff which has a high potential risk of chargebacks and fraudulent transactions.

Actually I'm interest to hear you answer as well, if you know :)

Gambling as well as FOREX-trading would only be accepted, if you are applying for an account with a Non-Belizean IBC (otherwise you need to present local lincenses, which are difficult to get !). If you describe the purpose of the IBC´s business as Adult download content etc. instead of "Interactive P****sites" - - you wouldn´t have a problem. Pharmacy, MLM and such business is no problem at all, as long as there is no fraud involved. ... and if you know somebody at the bank, it makes it way easier ...

Would a bank host with Godaddy.com ? and why does the SSL cert. (Issued by Thawte) not pull up in Green in your browser and without "ownership information" ?

I made a new thread for questions around British Caribbean Bank International Ltd, since the post made about them are not relevant in the thread they have been posted.

Please feel free to continue your conversation here :)

I was trying to find BCB on the VISA websites; I don´t know how to find it. They renamed in 2009 from Belize Bank International Ltd. to BCB Ltd., therefore the new website was created at that time too.

I see no reason not to host with godaddy.com. It´s very popular in the US.

The banks SSL certificate shows up when you go to online-banking. The certification is made by GeoTrust, Inc.

Clients of mine have good experience with the merchant service of BCB.

That explains a lot... I just got curious when I saw the domain creation date... still Godaddy to be the host for a bank seems to be a little scary, most have their own hosting facility or simply get hosted in facilities only for bank clients. But maybe everything is just perfectly fine then I'm sorry that I may have put up any doubts:)

I contacted them and they seems to be very helpful, now I'm waiting for my application to be processed.
