The Banker magazine of the Financial Times voted Marfin Laiki bank the “Bank of the Year Award for 2010″ in Cyprus. This prize awards the banking organization’s quality of services and innovatory profile in products and technology. Additionally the Marfin Laiki Bank is the only bank in Cyprus to receive the J.P. Morgan Quality Recognition Award.
The J.P. Morgan Quality Recognition Award recognizes clients that achieved
best-in-class straight-through processing (STP) rates. “The developments in 2006 marked the beginning of a new era for the Marfin Laiki Group,” said deputy chief executive Panayiotis Kounnis. He also added that: “Marfin Laiki has exhibited a robust growth story in 2007 and we are very optimistic for the future. Awards like this justify our excellent performance and underline our drive for excellence.”
