Merchant Account in Latvia Requirements

I am interested in getting a high risk merchant account in Latvia and was curious if anyone knew:


1. What are the incorporation requirements to get a Latvian Merchant account? Can I have a corporation in the EU, or do I actually need to incorporate in Latvia?


2. Of what I could find, Latvia is considered to be in the Visa Europe region. Is that correct?


3. Would I have to settle my funds in Latvia from my merchant account or could I settle my account in any country I wanted?


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,


I cannot speak for all Latvian banks, but the one i work with requires incorporation within any EU country along with an bank account also in Europe to settle the payments.
