Ok i dont know where exactly to begin. First of all , i am very glad to find a site that talks about this kind of stuff. I have a few questions and i am hoping i can get answered here. You will save my life and time. Thanks in advance. Well me and my partner decided we are getting into the poker business, and we bought a poker software and spents thousands of euros for it. As we are new into the market, we are not sure what exactly we need to do next. As far as i learn , the best and cheapest way to get a license is Costa Rica. But after reading this forums, i am getting worried. As the idea of having the license is to get approved for Merchants. And some people here state, its plain useless. So here is my question. Plus they are charging me $14,000 for that costa rica company and license. We dont have more funds to get a license elsewhere as the cost is to high for us. So here goes my questions.

1: To get Approved for Neteller as a merchant ( Does that Costa Rica Data Processing License work?) Can i get around that and still be able to accept neteller as a payment.

2: Same questions but for Moneybookers .

3: Credit card processing ( I know i can just open a random company and say i sell goods, and they will approve me, but i want it the legal way.

4: My main concern here is Neteller and Moneybookers, if there is a way to get them, without spending my money on the license, i dont care. We are planning on capping the poker site at 300 players. I dont need to have thousands.

5: I heard panama has some master license? ( Do you know anyone that sublease a license? Just so i can get approved for the mechants?

6: I think i need some offshore bank accounts. ( We opened some in Euros, Pounds, Dollars) But now i think we need one in cyprus, because most gaming sites use that.

I see lots of sites, that are unlicensed, and they accept all forms of payments? any insight on that?

Thanks in advance for the answers

You will need to submit a ticket to neteller's support they may be the best source for the right answer. I believe that this should be possible, however, I don't have any experience with the Costa Rica Data License for Gambling activities.

There was also http://www.firepay.com/ but it seems they are out of business:s-confused:

Have you tried firepay or Worldmap *** CLICK2PAY which is a company of WireCard AG (Old German Payment Processors and Bank) ?

Hi wiz, I have a similar situation as you, but have answers on some main questions of yours. Would you like to speak more regarding everything to share experiences regarding our issue?

Maybe you can answer the questions here so others may enjoy your knowledge as well? I means that's what this forum is all about ;)

Actually I from what we have seen, then, most of the payment processors if not all who are offer payment processing for Gambling, online casino's etc. and don't require the merchant to provide valid license, are not legit. This I say from the point that Visa / MC don't allow such payment processing activity.

Hi,

From my research it is all about being legit. If you have "that so called license" and you have a legit bank, most of processor will consider your application. However if it is a start-up, you might find it really hard to convince them without very professional detailed business plan.

I heard panama license is an unicorn, nobody does ever see it ;)

Considering the "unlicensed" websites. They are licensed, they just don't show you their license. They had to provide it for payment processor though for sure.

We made this structure in Costa Rica last year. If you want me I can help you. Please contact me.
