---- quote start

A Russian court has fined Google two undecillion roubles - a two followed by 36 zeroes - for restricting Russian state media channels on YouTube.

In dollar terms that means the tech giant has been told to pay $20,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000.

Despite being one of the world's wealthiest companies, that is considerably more than the $2 trillion Google is worth.

In fact, it is far greater than the world’s total GDP, which is estimated by the International Monetary Fund to be $110 trillion.

Don't worry google will be worth twice that much after a dollar crisis and hyperinflation. Maybe an ominous sign smi(&%.

Wonderful!

Totally the action of a normal country, I now have full faith of the rule of law in Russia and can't wait to move my life there ASAP.
It’s the result of cumulative fines and protracted non compliance with the original court order, which fined Google for just $1m. Google decided to ignore the rule of law, in classic Western fashion as dictated by its (war)lords.

Does anyone actually believe that Google will ever pay this fine, let alone that this will lead to a lawsuit?

What could Russia do against Google if they ignore them?

Russia could in theory apply to courts in friendly nations to enforce its court decision by freezing Googles assets i.e accounts, Data Centers etc.
